Aerodynamics
A shape in superior design and aerodynamics and Aero Edge Spoiler improve stability in high speed riding.
As a result of pursuit of advanced aero shape maintaining superior design and compactness of J-FORCE series, a combination of newly designed shell and components realized perfect shape. Among all components, Aero Edge Spoiler has strong impact. Streamlined spoiler succeeding to DNA of SHOEI's top racing model creates perfect curbed line beauty and gives outstanding air control effect in J-FORCE III. Aerodynamics of J-FORCE III improved drastically. Lift and drag in high speed riding which were experienced in conventional open face helmet are decreased remarkably. While prominent riding stability is secured in high speed riding of large sport bike, comfortable riding is guaranteed in all categories of bikes.
AIM Structure

Compatibility of Rigidity to Protect Head from Impact and Light Weight to Restrain Fatigue.
AIM is SHOEI's own rigid and lightweight shell structure realized by complex layers of glass fiber and 3D processed organic fibers. Its rigidity protects head in accident and also, light weight restrains fatigue during ride and contributes to avoiding accident. Perfect aerodynamics created by aero shape also restrains fatigue.

Ventilation System

Combination of air absorption and exhaust in high level realized further ventilation which you can sense comfortably.
"Ventilation you can sense" is improved further in J-FORCE III. The number of intake holes in upper air intake is increased to 5 to improve absorption performance by 16%* compared with that of predecessor. Vortex ventilation favored with high exhaust performance using negative air pressure during ride is redesigned for improvement of negative pressure effect to improve exhaust performance by 20%*. Furthermore, rear outlet is equipped in rib of shell's rear end. Combination of all ventilation parts from absorption to exhaust provides cooling performance which you can sense clearly in all riding scenes from low speed to high speed riding. All joint portions of parts are in flush surfaces to improve aerodynamics. Use of smoke parts, as a design, gives an accent to shell design. Upper intake is in pretty harmony with shell whether open or closed.

Super Flow Dual Liner

Pursuit of airflow inside helmet realized impact absorption liner where safety and comfort are compatible.
Impact absorption liner absorbs impact received by shell so that the impact may not be conveyed to head directly. In order to improve airflow inside helmet securing safety performance SHOEI developed dual liner, 2 layers of liner with air route in between. In J-FORCE III's Super Flow Dual Liner, locations of air holes and shape of air route are improved further, and air route is located in the interiors side also. Riding wind absorbed from front air intake improved for larger absorption streams through air route taking heat and humidity and is exhausted through outlet to keep inside of helmet fresh always.

Head is wrapped deeply and firmly. Advanced fabric with high moisture absorption and exhaust performance is used.
3D Full Support Inner III Type JS provides comfortable fit and firm hold during ride relized by 3D processed pad. Furthermore, "HYGRA"*,high moisture absorption and exhaust fiber, is used for meshed fabric to make free sense of open face helmet further comfortable. Size and hardness of pad can be fine adjusted using optional pad. Favored Q.R.I.P. system makes removing, fixing and washing of interiors easy.

Q.R.S.B. +CJ-1 Shield System

SHOEI's own easy removing and fixing shield system secures wide vision and wind protection performance.
CJ-1 shield which covers up to chin secures wide vision and wind protection performance equivalent to full face helmet. Shield side stopper stabilizes shield even during high speed riding. Mechanical portion of shield is equipped in an inner side to realize flush surface integrated with shell when closed. It restrains air resistance and wind noise. Q.R.S.B. system makes replacement or maintenance of shield easy without using any tool.
