Please measure your circumference in your longest portions and select your size roughly. However, different from hat, a size of helmet cannot be identified by circumference alone. And also, you may feel different when you wear several models of the same manufacturer in the same size. Please wear your required model in your dealer before purchase.

Interiors of helmet are designed based upon standard shape of head. Therefore, adjustment of interiors may raise fit better for some customers. Adjustment may be made if a model is with removable interiors. You may adjust combination of "cheek pad", a pad on your cheek, and "center pad", a pad covering your head circumference.

"Cheek Pad"
Dimensions of cheek pad are common for all sizes of helmet except thickness. Therefore, hold on cheek can be adjusted by applying pad of other thickness.

For example, thickness of cheek pad for MULTITEC varies from 43mm to 31mm. Standard equipped pad for M size is 35mm thick. If you want to loosen hold, you may change to pad of 31mm. if want tighten hold, you may change to 39 or 43mm pad.

There are two types of cheek pad. One is a type in different thickness only like that of MULTITEC. The other is a type which is classified by thickness and hardness. If you find pad with indication of "hard" or "soft", it means that thickness of polyurethane foam is same but that its repulsion is different.

"Center Pad"
There is an indication of XS, M, L or XL in front of number on each center pad. It indicates corresponding liner size. By using a pad with different number you can adjust size. For example, standard pad size for L size liner is L9. If you want to make your interiors looser, you can use L5. And, if you like to make it tighter, you may use L13. Pad with indication of M can be used only for M sized impact absorption liner and cannot be used for L sized helmet. M sized liner is used for both S and M sized helmet. Therefore, center pad with indication of M may be used for both sized helmets.

For J-STREAM, S, L and XL sized impact absorption liners are used for XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL respectively. Therefore, same center pad can be used for XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL respectively. Furthermore, same as cheek pad, there are soft and hard center pads. If you are using L sized helmet and like to tighten hold, you may change center pad to that of L13 soft or L13 hard. In case you want to make it looser, you can change it to L9 soft while there is no pad softer than L9.

When you fell pain partially including temple, its portion is pressed heavier than other portions or weight of helmet is loaded on the portion. Please try as below.

• 1) Please put folded handkerchief or thin towel on your head and wear helmet.
• 2) If pain of temple is cured, please purchase polyurethane foam of the same thickness as folded handkerchief or towel and stick it on inner side of interiors.

Interiors can be replaced as far as you have never fell down and replacement parts are available. We may not accept replacement due to availability of parts for helmets other than current models and other models mentioned below. Please consult with your dealer to know whether repair I accepted for old type models.

Self painting is not recommended because some materials of helmet may be damaged by paints or thinner. If you like to paint yourself, please take followings into your consideration.

• = Please make masking on portions other than shell so that they may not be exposed to paints or thinner.
• = Please do not use paint which needs temperature of more than 50°C for drying.

It is called "pre-set lever". When lever is lowered, shield is positioned slightly open. Elimination of fog or change of air inside shield is made easily. Fog is eliminated very effectively. In QRV type, shield is locked when lever is turned counterclockwise.

We recommend to replace your helmet 3 years after your purchase. Helmet may not maintain its original performance due to overage or deterioration while it is being used. However, even within 3 years, if you fall down and your head is hit or EPS liner is damaged by organic solvent or heat or proper hold is not secured due to deterioration of interior or chinstrap, your helmet must be replaced.

Maintenance procedure defers by helmet or by its portion. Please keep in your mind that wrong maintenance work may cause damage.

It depends upon how it was dropped or whether there are foreign materials inside helmet.

Even safety standard differs between motorcycle helmet and 4 wheelers helmet. Some races may have their own rules and regulations for helmet. Please consult with race sponsor for details.

Please use water repellent agent for helmet and do not use coating agent of car because it is for glasses.

Even if a certain model is recognized by MFJ, the product in the same name is different in specification from the model recognized by MFJ. You cannot stick MFJ label on it.
