

How is X-9 different form X-Eleven?
X-Eleven is designed more for race use. Shape of shell is designed for better aerodynamics. Ventilation system is designed so that it can absorb air effectively when a rider is in a forward-bent posture. On the other hand, X-9 is in comparatively standard shape not equipping large aero parts. Ventilation is designed for riding form not bent extremely forward. As a result, air intakes are placed mostly in forehead portion. As for interiors, although fit is same, soft napped material is applied for X-9 while meshed material is used for X-Eleven. Interiors are interchangeable for X-Eleven and X-9.
How many shell sizes are there? And, how is relation between shell size and helmet size?
There are 4 shell sizes to cover 6 helmet sizes as below.
S Size Shell for XS and S sized Helmets.
M Size Shell for M sized Helmet.
L Size Shell for L sized Helmet.
XL Size Shell for XL and XXL sized Helmets.
*Helmet size of XS and XXL are adjusted by thickness of polyurethane foam interiors.
Can CX-1 shield be equipped to X-9?
No, it cannot be. X-9 is equipped with CX-1V which is wider than CX-1. Therefore, CX-1 cannot close completely even if it is equipped. And also, shield base in the left side equipped with pre-set lever is for CX-1V exclusively.
Can X-9 QD interiors be used for other models?
They can be used for E-Eleven and X-9 only.
